HORSTMANN troughed belt conveyors type MGF are preferably used for the transport of recyclables, compost or general bulk materials. The sturdy sheet metal edge construction is equipped with the necessary holes for the corresponding accessories and is manufactured in segments. In order to realize the exact length according to the customer’s requirements, so-called fitting joints are used. The conveyor belt is removed in a combination of rolling and sliding. Due to the sliding design in the area of the side bars, an optimum seal is achieved for the conveyed material.

The protective devices, which can be dismantled quickly and easily, make cleaning and maintenance work easier. An example of this is, among other things, the lower belt cover as a truck tarpaulin design. Chutes, funnels and supports of the conveyor are designed according to the requirements.

Due to its compact dimensions, this type of conveyor belt is excellent for tight spaces.

The troughed belt conveyor can be used in different design variants as required, for example as a traveling or reversible conveyor. Likewise, various accessories such as speed monitoring, misalignment switch, etc. can be selected.
