HORSTMANN scraper chain conveyors, are used for the intake, buffering and metered feeding of green waste, organic waste, organic production residues etc. within the feed hopper. Regulary, a decompactor is installed downstream, which loosens the material when it is conveyed away.

The bunker is usually loaded with a wheel loader. The bunker volume, is realized according to the customer’s requirement.

HORSTMANN has various bunker width and length gradations in its range.

The stable framework is made of folded sheet metal profile with welded cross sections. Scraper flights are bolted to the two circulating chain strands, which transport the conveyed material further.
