HORSTMANN screening drums are preferably used to divide the material flow into different particle sizes.

The selection of the screening machine is determined by the different materials to be processed, the intended separation sizes and their number, and the required throughput capacity. Up to 4 sieving stages can be realized with one machine.

The replaceable screen plates are designed with round or rectangular perforations and, depending on the type of material, with or without winding protection. Optionally, mixers, accelerators, brakers, or bag rippers can be integrated into the screen drum body as required – even after the machine has been completed – to optimize the screening result.

The screen drum body is equipped with mechanically machined races, which ensure extremely smooth running. The drive wheels with vulcanized Tractothane bandages ensure power transmission. The stable support structure made of profile steel is manufactured according to the requirements, as are all chutes and funnels.
