HORSTMANN sliding belt conveyors type PL are mainly used for the transport of light recyclables such as foils, Tetra, paper, PET and similar light recyclables, where an even distribution on the conveyor belt is important. Therefore, this conveyor is often used in plants for the processing of light packaging.

The stable, torsion-resistant belt frame is made of folded sheet metal with welded-in cross sections.

The belt is basically worn in a sliding manner and is therefore designed with a polyester fabric layer on the underside. The sliding surface in the upper run is designed horizontally.

Depending on requirements, the sliding belt conveyor type PL can be used in different design variants, for example as a traveling or reversible conveyor belt or also as a cleated belt for inclines greater than 20°.
