HORSTMANN vertical conveyors are used for the vertical transport of pallets or unit loads such as mesh boxes and containers. The vertical conveyor (vertical transfer device) serves as a floor connector in the material flow. A fully automatic operation takes place in interaction with loading and unloading stations. The vertical conveyor is designed for a temperature range of ±0 °C to +45 °C. However, use in the deep-freeze range down to -35 °C is also possible.

HORSTMANN vertical conveyors are designed as 4-post lifters (SRF V) or 1-post lifters (SRF E) and can be customized to the respective installation situation and conveying task.

Flat belts, ropes, toothed belts or chains are used as drive systems. The basic framework is made of sectional steel. A freestanding variant or one anchored in the structure is possible. The car, with idler conveyor, suspension chain conveyor, telescope (also in combination with a turntable or eccentric lift), is guided by means of a guide rail.

The drive is provided by an SEW gearmotor (other makes available on request). In this case, the drive can be installed both on the SKF or in the lower area.

The vertical conveyors are equipped with the appropriate sensor and safety technology (light barriers, initiators, muting system, etc.).

A design for higher weights, occupancy with several pallets and special transport pallets is possible.
